Due to irreconcilable differences the Three Rivers Library Board has decided to walk away from our final offer which is listed below.
We offered $ 29.56 per cardholder.
This is double what Lockport township is paying which amounted to $33,757.00
We offered $ 3,379.00 to reimburse them annually for state aid.
We offered $ 2864.00 annually specifically for a children’s reading program.
In total we offered them an annual payment in the area of 40K a year.
They have decided to leave it on the table and walk away.
Although we are disappointed we will respect their decision and wish them well as they steer the library in a different direction.
